Term of Guest Stay
1. For room payments made by cash, the hotel will hold an additional $50.00 security deposit. The deposit will be returned at check-out if there are no problems with the room and if all hotel policies are followed. For room payments made by credit/debit card, the card will be kept on file. Any incidentals or applicable fees will be applied to the card. When paying with credit/debit cards that is not with a major bank (Bank Of America, Chase, Fifth Third, etc.), a $50.00 deposit is also due with the purchase of room. This applies to Cash App cards, gift cards, prepaid cards, or temporary cards with no name.
2. Room check-in time is 3:00 pm; check-out time is 11:00 am the following day. Early check in between 8:00 am and 12:59 pm is a $20.00 extra fee. If the guest would like to check in after 12:00 am, check-out time is 11:00 am the same day. The guest agrees that checking out past 11:00 am has to be approved by the hotel front desk and is applicable to a half-day room fee charge after 1:00 pm or a full-day room fee charge after 4:00 pm. When checking out, the guest agrees to return the room key at the front desk or to pay $50.00 for replacement of the room lock.
3. The guest agrees and understands that the hotel is not responsible for personal valuables (cash, passport, ID, jewelry, important documents, etc.) left unattended in their hotel room. If the guest loses any items, the hotel staff will try their best to help look for the items, but it is not the hotel's or staff’s responsibility to find the items for the guest.
4. The guest agrees to use caution and good judgement in handling hotel property and appliances in the rooms, such as: air conditioner (with remote controller), television (with remote controller), table, chair, curtains, mattress cover, sheets, pillow cases, carpets, towels, etc. Any damages found to room property may result in charges for repairing or replacing them.
5. The guest agrees not to smoke in any hotel public area including lobby, lounge, hallways, and stairways. The guest will be fined up to $100.00 if found smoking on hotel property based on Chicago city ordinance, which prohibits smoking in all enclosed public places. “Smoking” here refers to both regular cigarette and e-cigarette usage as well as marijuana products.
6. The guest agrees that there will be no pets in the room.
7. The hotel reserves the right to notify the authorities if needed and refuse service to guests who (1) are unwilling or unable to pay for their rooms, (2) are minors unaccompanied by a parent or guardian, (3) are disorderly, (4) were previously ejected, or (5) are unwilling or unable to agree to above terms.
8. The longest term to stay in the hotel is 28 days. The guest must check out by then.
